Testimony Tuesday

One morning last week as I walked to my vehicle, I saw a neighbour and another gentleman having a conversation. He happened to walk by my vehicle at the exact moment I saw that the tyre on the left was flat. I asked him for help and he willingly obliged. I was not even allowed to take out my emergency tools. He retrieved his from his vehicle which was parked nearby and proceeded to change the tyre for me and reminded me that I needed to take it to a shop to have it repaired. I thanked him and went on my way.

I completed my errand and then later in the day, I visited a tyre shop to have the punctured tyre repaired. This did not take long as I was the only customer at the time and so in a few minutes, I was back at home. As I exited the vehicle, another neighbor was walking towards me, just in time to assist with replacing the spare tire in the storage area.

Again, I requested help and he was more than willing to help and even had time to have a short conversation with me.

These two incidents may seem trivial, but for someone who is still recovering from a hand injury, any kind of assistance is welcome.

I thank God that He saw my need and provided help at just when I needed it. What an on time God. He answered before I even called!

What are you thankful for today? Count your blessings, name them one by one.

Be blessed as you meditate on the words of this song.
