Contrary to what some may think, singleness is not a curse. It is a time of preparation. It’s a time to grow, heal, discover oneself, find purpose and serve God and others wholeheartedly. As any wise person knows, it is critical to prepare before taking any action. Marriage is no exception. The season of singleness gives you time and opportunity to lay the foundation for a healthy, thriving marriage. Do not despise the day of small beginnings (Zach 4:10). Use this time wisely! Change your perspective and see the blessings and opportunities in this season.
