What an awesome feeling to know that there is nothing that can separate us from God’s love. There is nothing we can do to make God stop loving us. His love is eternal and unconditional. He loves us no matter what! We can be sure of that, and as we say in Jamaica, we can put our pot on the fire when it comes on to His love for us. He first loved us, even when we did not love Him. So great is His love for us that He sent His only son to die on the cross to bear the penalty for our sins. What a steady, consistent love which is not fickle like human love, which loves today and hates tomorrow. Wouldn’t you want to be a recipient of that love? I would! So be comforted. Know that God loves you endlessly and has inscribed you in the palm of His hand. (Isaiah 49:16)
