Has God instructed you to do something, but you are afraid to make a bold step? Are you concerned with what people will say? Hear this: You cannot disobey God to in order to please man. Here are a few scriptures to remind you that God is on your side and will be your Shield and Protector. So, go forward with boldness and courage and do what He has commanded you to do.

1. We must obey God rather than men – Acts 5:29
2. Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe – Proverbs 29:25
3. Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the LORD – Jeremiah 1:8
4. Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams – 1 Samuel 15:22

Be encouraged and comforted. There are more for you than against you. Go forward in faith, fully persuaded that God is in control and you cannot lose. As we say in the Jamaican parlance, nuh watch nuh face! (Don’t be afraid of their faces).
