It’s Tuesday, so it’s time to testify!

Before they call, I will answer..

Isaiah 65:24

I was in church two weeks ago when, out of nowhere, the thought came to me that I needed a pair of shoes. I made a mental note to visit Payless as soon as I could, and returned my thoughts to worship.

After the service, I went to purchase a ticket for, an upcoming event, Reset Jamaica 2025, which was being spearheaded by a member of our church. I waited at the table for awhile but she was having a conversation with some visitors and I did not want to interrupt. I left, but when I returned, she was still engaged, so I decided to greet a few persons and then come back to her.

As I was talking to a friend, I noticed an elderly lady sitting by herself. I had interacted with her a few times before. I knew she was waiting for her daughter who was working as a Security Officer at our church.

I finished the.conversation and decided that I would go and say hello to her and sit with her for awhile. As I made my way across to her, a beloved sister of the church came out of the  Sound Room just as I reached the door. She had a bag in her hand, and asked me if I knew anyone who wore size 6 shoes.  I replied in the negative, but then I was prompted to ask her to let me see the pair of shoes. This was strange as I normally wear  size 7, 71/2 or 8 depending on the make. For some reason though, I thought I should take a look. When I did, I realized that it looked as if it would be a good fit.  I decided that I would take it home to try it. In my mind, I thought it was being sold, so I asked her to name her price. She responded that it was being given as a gift.

Wow…talk about being at the right place at the right time!

When I tried the pair of slippers, I was blown away. They fit perfectly. This girl was indeed wearing her (new) size! While I was merely thinking, God had already prepared the answer. Jehovah Jireh, my provider!
