Testimony Tuesday – Seeing God in the Little Things

Today is Tuesday and so its time to share another testimony of God’s faithfulness. It may seem small and not worthy of mention, but I have learned to give thanks for even the smallest things. I have learnt to see God in the little things and that has made a BIG difference in my life.

On January 3, I went to the gas station with my tank half full. I requested $3000 worth of gas, which I knew would have been enough to fill the tank. At the $2500 mark, the pump made that distinct sound which indicated the tank was full. So, it was then on to the topping up process. She pumped and pumped, struggling to get to the elusive $3000 mark. It was a valiant try, but at the $2800 mark, the tank was at capacity and could not take a drop more. I received my change and drove away, satisfied that I would have gas in my car for many days to come.

That was 11 days ago, and there were three days that I did not drive, but thanks be to God, my needle is still at F. My Eco light is always on, and my tank is still full!

I see that as a blessing, for which I am eternally grateful. To God be the glory.

P.S. Remember that testimony about 33 months with a battery bought in February 2022, that should have lasted no more than 24 months? Well, it’s still going strong. No problem at all, so there is no need to replace it. It is still defying the odds. Who could that be but God? I continue to give thanks for small mercies.
